My name is Andi, and my husband, Brad, and I have been living on Utila year round for about 5 years now. We first visited and purchased property on the island of Utila about 9 years ago, during a vacation, when we fell in love with the people, culture, beauty, and island and decided this is where we wanted to live.

Previous to moving to Utila, we lived in Hawai’i for about 9 years where Brad and I worked in marine biology and marine education. We actually met up at Midway Atoll, in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands, and now a field station, when I was working as a Scuba Divemaster and with the US Fish and Wildlife Service with seabird monitoring and habitat restoration, and Brad was with the Marine Protected Species Program (primarily with Monk Seals) with the National Marine Fisheries Service.

We have been involved in multiple facets of Utila, from being a visitor, to buying land and selling land, to getting to know the people and the island, and owning and running 3 on-island businesses (Bundu Cafe, Destination Utila Vacation Rentals, both now sold, and currently Utila Realty, an Utila real estate company). We know the people here as well as the businesses and can answer about any question regarding Utila.
