 Gunter’s Driftwood Gallery

Owner/artist Austrian Gunter Kordovsky has been living, diving and making art on Utila for more than thirty years.

His gallery is a trip in of itself, consisting of a variety of items carved out of driftwood, unique displays of resin inlays, wood sculpture, paintings, maps and jewelry.

Stop by for a unique vision of Utila. Gunter is a a great source of knowledge on the island as well, and can also lead hikes into some of the unknown parts of Utila.

S&W Tackle

The first tackle store on Utila offers everything you need to enjoy fishing Utila or its surrounding waters. With our very reasonable prices you’re sure to find something that suits your needs. We stock only brand name equipment, from rods and reels, to lures, hooks, and lines. Everything you could possibly need. Stop by and check us out.

We rent inshore/flats and fly fishing equipment. Great for people that don’t want to or can’t travel with fishing gear. We also have some of the best guide service and fishing charters available.

Utila Dive Supplies

Utila Dive Supplies is Utila’s only Authorized Dealer and Service Center for Mares scuba diving equipment. Not only do we offer professional full servicing on Mares diving gear, we also offer customers a professional full service on all other brands of scuba diving equipment. Our service is quick – mostly the same day – and inexpensive.

We have a complete selection of Mares Regs, Octos, Gauges, BCDs, Dive Computers, Compasses, Wetsuits, Rashies, Fins, Booties, Masks and Snorkels. We stock a range of Mares bags for carrying all your dive equipment or snorkel gear. We now have available Prescription Masks. If we don’t have something in stock that you particularly want, we can usually have the item in the shop the next day.

We provide the Mares 2 year warranty on our products – valid anywhere in the world, including Utila.
