Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) is now on Utila!

Stand up paddleboards are wider and bigger than a surfboard- this makes balance much easier. They are also built for glide- so its a perfect way to get a little exercise in and “walk on water”.
Rentals are very affordable, and patient instruction is available- (they’ll give you a short introduction when you rent the board- longer lessons available). Tours too!
They also have a cart and can bring the boards to you.
Paddle Utila (Utila Paddle Hut) is located at Chepes beach (the public beach) daily except for Wednesdays or if its really windy or stormy or they are off on a tour. But you can contact them in advance (email- paddleutila@gmail.com) to set up a time. You can also visit the folks at Utila Realty, on the main street, next to Munchies, ground level and they can give Paddleboard Utila a call for you.
