But you can be here by 10:30 am! Placencia ferry gets in about 2pm to Puerto Cortes, Honduras. From there, you can take a taxi (800 lps.. 40 bucks) or a 1.5 hour mini van ride for 40 lps (2 bucks plus 20 lps for luggage) to San Pedro Sula. If you take the mini van, you need to walk to the main highway- just over the bridge- 3 blocks. Once in SAP, you can then take one of our <a href="http://utilaguide.com/utilatravel/bus/" rel="nofollow">direct Buses</a> to La Ceiba and <a href="http://utilaguide.com/hotels/laceibahotels/" rel="nofollow">stay the night there. </a>A taxi from SAP to La Ceiba costs about $120, so you may be able to get a good deal if you take the same guy.
