My Mother,
Elsie Winifred (Cooper) Borden was born on Utilla Island, Her Father Charles Wesley Cooper
was a minister on the Island, sadly I was the youngest of the family, and had polio when I was about 18-20 month old, year 1945 ,and we moved to the States in 1946 and never really got to know my grand father or my grand mother, and would like to learn as much of their lives and other family members as I could.
It seems I know everything, and have met my wifes family and those of many of my freinds families and I have a void, an empty place in my heart I’d love to fill…..If you are a family member or simply knowledgable and willing to fill in the blank space in my life, you would have my greatest thanks and admiration

Hello Mr. Joseph and thanks for writing in. There are certainly a lot of Boddens on island, so a lot of family for you to meet! I don’t know how many of them check this site, but I would suggest writing to Mary at utilarealty@gmail.com . She is from the island, is very sweet, and could put you in touch with some Boddens so you can start your connections. Let me know if I can be of further assistance…

Hi Joseph!
I’m Eve, daughter of Riley Kirk Cooper. My father is the youngest son of Charles Wesley Cooper. Unfortunately, my father was only 2 when my grandfather died. So the only connection we have with the Cooper family is with my uncle, Winston Cooper. It’ll be appreciative for me and my father to know more about Charles Cooper. My e-mail is coope3@mail.broward.edu
